I received a Bachelor of Arts at the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2003 with a major in psychology and a minor is sociology. I received a Master of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010 and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#C008151) in the State of North Carolina. I have provided group and individual mental health treatment and advocacy services in outpatient and residential treatment programs since 2003. Additionally, I have been a community organizer since 2001 and I find that these spheres inform and enhance one another. Prior to graduate school, I was a co-founder and organizer for Tranzmission in Asheville, NC from 2001-2009. More recently I served as the Board of Directors Co-chair for the non-profit organization Girls Rock NC. For more information about Girls Rock NC click HERE. I joined Carolina Partners in Mental Health Care in 2013. For more information on services and locations offered at Carolina Partners click HERE.

I am a warm and charismatic provider and am excited to become a resource and support for you. If you have become overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, are worried that you have developed an addiction, or are managing other transitions, you may be at the precipice of profound growth. We are also collectively and personally working to manage the psychological impact of the current political climate. Together we can create a safer space to navigate your change efforts in a gentle and affirming way.
